We truly are lucky in North Idaho that we do have Dr. Stowell as an orthopedic surgeon in our area. Dr. Stowell operated on my shoulder a few weeks ago. Beginning with my first visit to him, I was treated with exceptional competence, care, and compassion that are truly rare today. The absolutely wonderful surgical result and post operative care he gave me, speak volumes about his surgical knowledge and skill, as well as his genuine care for his patients. Any person who is suffering from shoulder issues would be wise to trust Dr. Stowell. I could not give him a higher recommendation, and I feel blessed to be his patient. David James Saad

We went to urgent care when our toddler got hurt on the trampoline. They took x-rays and told us nothing was broken and sent us home. She was in pain the entire night. In the morning I contacted Dr. Stowell and let him know our daughter couldn’t stand or walk. He pulled up her x-rays, called us back immediately to have her come in right away. Dr. Stowell and his team were amazing, they casted her leg and were able to keep her calm through the whole process. I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Stowell! Urgent care called us three days later to tell us her leg was actually broken. I suggest skip urgent care and go straight to Dr. Stowell.

5 Stars to the entire OSI organization. Everyone is professional, courteous, responsive, and most importantly, competent in the role they play. Dr. Lyman and Dr. Stowell are accomplished and skilled surgeons and are personal and professional in their one-on-one patient interactions. My husband and I appreciate how they explain what they have to repair, how we're going to feel after surgery and how we'll recover well if we follow their rehab protocols. They always make the time to answer every question. You feel as though you are their only patient when you're with them.

I flew to Idaho from Wyoming to have Doctor Stowell fix a meniscus tear in my knee. When you’re getting surgery there’s no reason to take risks. I wanted it to be done really well, so I came to the best. He did a perfect job. My whole experience was wonderful. My knee is awesome. I highly recommend Doctor Stowell. You can trust him to care for you like you were his own family.

Dr. Lee Stowell is AMAZING!!! Best Doctor I’ve ever been to. I Brought my 2 year old son to Dr. Stowell after a horrifying swinging incident with his elbow. Dr. Stowell diagnosed him with dislocated elbow and put him in a cast for a few weeks. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly for the little guy making him feel right at home and comfortable for the casting. After his time was up and we returned to have it taken off Dr. Stowell did a great job of reassuring me that he wouldn’t be hurt or upset with the casting saw, but he warned me prior that it’s a little loud so it would be a great idea to bring ear phones and play music while he had it taken off. When it was time to come off Dr. Stowell was totally right it was super loud but my son could care less he was just listening to baby shark! My son has not had any issues with his arm since and I want to thank the office staff along with Dr. Stowell for a pleasant experience for helping out this very stressed mother! THANK YOU!
